>>> It's hard to put a finger on where Malcolm falls in genre or institution. His diverse musical resume has been documented through a long history of various projects, where he has played keys, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and been a vocalist, in the studio and on stage.

He has played and toured with rock, jazz, blues, and funk bands out of Southern California the past ten years, sharing the stage with bands like Sublime, Mother Hips, Leftover Salmon, The Bangles, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, MOE., and Dave Wakeling. Malcolm's music has shown up in extreme skiing films, performance theater, multimedia presentations, city art galleries, television commercials, and independent films. The multi-layered and varied genres of his music reflect his nomadic journey of personal discovery through art.

>>> After many years of playing the piano by ear, Malcolm had accumulated dozens of original solo piano tunes and a healthy repertoire of popular songs. By age seventeen he was "gig'n" at weddings, special events, and corporate parties - meanwhile playing in malls and public concerts promoting a self-produced, solo piano record, "Keymotions".

Soon after, Malcolm schooled in jazz and classical technique, attending Cornish College of The Arts, Seattle, WA. and California Institute for the Arts, Los Angeles. After leaving his hometown, Seattle, WA, Malcolm resided in Santa Barbara, CA and stayed busy with local bands, studio sessions, and writing.
