Lodestone Rainy Day Revelation 1998 malcolm: keys, backing vocals
The Santa Barbara scene has produced many great songwriters and Jeremy Kay is no exception. Moving his music
to L.A. landed him a deal with Surfdog Records and thus Lodestone was formed. Soulful rock performance, with a blend of
R&B, vintage sounds, and progressive playing. Van Morrison meets Dave Mathews Band.

Neal Crosbie Zen Horse Repair 2001 malcolm: keys, soundscapes
This record is a completely unique and powerful musical journey. Neal was totally
open to artist interpretation. All of the keys and some of the ambient sounds were created
with Reason Software, a powerful medium for digital programming. The songs were written
on an alt-tuned banjo, and then layered with other instruments. Experimental folk-fusion.

D. Malcolm Anderson Avenues 2001 malcolm: all instruments and vocals
This was the first completed effort of an EP of original songs, playing all the instruments.
Most of the recording was done in a basement in Salt Lake City - then additional tracking,
mixing, and production came from veteran Santa Barbara producer, Robinson Eikenberry.
The result is 7 tracks laced with loops, acoustic guitar, Floydian themes and some progressive grooves.

Nicola Gordon 2 Cranes Fly... 2004 malcolm: keys, soundscapes
Another busy songwriter out of Santa Barbara, this is Nicola's third album released to date.
A stripped down recording with mostly just guitars, vocals, keys, and bass. No drums to speak of.
Nicola's voice and playing are folk in character, but offer a much deeper vibe
than most similar artists. Edgy, quirky, and profound.

Nicola Gordon Turning 1998 malcolm: piano, organ
Emotionally raw and fuzzy around some of the edges, if you are a deeply feeling sensitive
individual, you will understand perfectly. "A fierce, yet delicate balance of sensitivity and fun.
What a voice. Nicola Gordon is a genuine writer...
"Boxes" is delicious!" --Jason Bennett, Colorado

Kirstin Candy La Vie En Rouge 2005 malcolm: wurlitzer keys
Five albums later, Kirstin Candy has lived and breathed this industry. With a nationwide
tour under her belt, airplay in dozens of cities, and sessions with the top names in the biz
the word is out on Candy's music. Out of her homebase in Santa Barbara, CA, Kirstin offers a fresh look at her songwriting, with "La Vie En Rouge", the latest and most profound work to date.

Kirstin Candy Fearless 1997 malcolm: piano
Two weeks before I was set to record, I found myself without a bass player or guitarist. Yet, I still strongly felt this was the time for the recording to take place.
Within a few days the "warlocks of rock" (as I call them) appeared (Daniel, Alastair, Dave & Malcolm) and magic began to happen. We had two weeks to sound like we had been together for two years. Maybe it was this spontaneous, creative energy that made everything run like clockwork. - KC

Claudehopper Finite Nature Of tThings 2003 malcolm: keys
intertwined sounds of rich acoustic and lush overdriven electric instruments, and the rough hewn vocal delivery of singer/songwriter David Cowan
